We’ll break down the science of lighting ratios, the "why" behind different modifiers, and how to master everything from a single-light setup to complex multi-light portraits. Whether you’re shooting in the studio or mixing strobe with the sun, this class provides the skills you need to elevate your portfolio

After the basics are understood, it’s time for Advanced Creative Lighting class. This class builds off the previous class and teaches the more technical aspects of Creative lighting. This advanced masterclass is designed for photographers ready to bridge the gap between technical proficiency and pure imagination. Beyond standard setups, we will explore the nuanced physics of light to create imagery with depth, drama, and soul. Learn how to “paint in” with video and flash, add color, multiple exposures with studio flash(build multiple light scenarios with a single light) in camera and through layers. Exercise practical applications for quick proficient lighting in fast paced portrait situations such as events, street, location and weddings. You’ll leave this class with a renewed creative surge and confidence in your photography.

  • The Science of Color: Using gels to enhance mood while avoiding common pitfalls.

  • Contradictory Lighting: Low Key, Dark light: Why "more light" is often the key to intentional shadows and dimension.

  • Long Exposure Artistry: Light painting and shutter-drag techniques for crisp edges with fluid motion.

  • Cinematic Atmosphere: Creating tangible depth and environment in-studio.

  • The Final Polish: A deep dive into my Photoshop workflow, covering layers, compositing, and signature color grading.
